About the Competition
"DATASTORM 2025" is officially back! This is a professional and prestigious academic playground for all students passionate about the field of Data Science, both nationally and internationally. With exciting themes and real-world datasets, the competition is an opportunity for you to push your limits, apply your knowledge and skills to create breakthrough products, and solve practical problems in the industry. Join us to create a "data storm" where innovative ideas flourish and young talents shine!
Eligible Participants
- Students from universities and colleges, both domestic and international.
- Form a team of 03 – 05 members.
- Register to compete in either the Vietnamese or English language track.
Submission Rules
- The submitted product must not have won the highest prize in any competition at the Provincial/City level or higher.
- The product must not be the subject of any copyright disputes.
- Teams are fully responsible for the copyright of the resources used in their submissions.

Sale Demand Forecasting
Analyze and forecast shopping demand to help businesses optimize supply chains, manage inventory effectively, and enhance customer experience.

Competition Rounds
Round 1 (Oct 06 – Oct 26)
Teams propose ideas based on the themes and suggested datasets. Using external data is allowed. Submit products including reports, slides, videos, etc., to present the idea. 30 teams will be selected for Round 2.
Round 2 (Nov 03 – Nov 23)
Teams receive a portion of the real dataset from the organizers. Continue to develop, detail the product, and demonstrate its feasibility. The top 15 teams will advance to the Final Round.
Final Round (Dec 13 – Dec 14)
Hackathon: 15 teams compete onsite at SBS, receive the full dataset, and finalize their product within 24 hours. The best 6 teams will be selected for the Stage Pitching.
Stage Pitching: 6 teams present and answer questions directly with the judges at Ton Duc Thang University to determine the champion.
