Introduction

Department of Computer Networks and Data Communications under the Faculty of Information Technology, was established with the following functions and tasks:

• Training in specialized subjects in the field of Computer Networks and Data Communications with solid professional competence, good moral qualities and keen thinking to grasp network technologies as well as meet the increasing needs of society.
• Equip students with solid knowledge of the communications network and its underlying technologies. Specifically, under this specialization, students will gain knowledge in areas such as network architecture, network configuration, network design, network management, network security, switching systems, mobile networks, dynamic and multimedia systems.
• Along with the training mission, the department strives to promote scientific research, develop and implement in-depth solutions in the field of computer networks, data communication systems, multi-media vehicle and communications services development on the Internet, mobile communications networks, information and networking security.
